What can I hire with my motorboat?
Like to make your cruising holiday even more fun? There are a variety of accessories that you can hire with our motorboats.
From life jackets to a rubber boat. Below an overview of all extras that can be rented with your motor boat. You can also view the prices of all accessories directly.

Lifejackets
Lifejackets are not compulsory on our motorboats. However, when sailing with young children, the elderly or passengers with no swimming experience we certainly recommend the use of lifejackets.

IJsselmeer package
The motorboats longer than 12 metres are suitable for cruising on the IJsselmeer. This only applies if it is safe to do so, if you have experience, and if you hire an IJsselmeer package. Cruising on the IJsselmeer is not permitted in wind strengths greater than force 4.
An IJsselmeer package comprises: lifejackets for all on board, distress flares, a chart of the IJsselmeer and binoculars.

Rubber dinghy + 2.5 hp engine
It is possible to hire a rubber dinghy with the ship. This is equipped with a 2.5 hp outboard engine and is attached behind the motorboat. The rubber dinghy will take you to a shop or maybe an attraction in places you can't get to with the big motorboat. This gives your cruising in Friesland a whole new dimension.

(Electric) Bicycles
You can also hire (Electric) folding bicycles with the rental yacht. These folding bikes are attached at the front of the ship.

SUP's
Friesland's nature is even closer by with an SUP (stand up paddle board). The SUP’s, including paddle and pump, are available for hire with the motorboats. Paddling an SUP isn't just great fun; its also good exercise!

Internet on board
Would you like to be online during your holiday as well? That's possible! We hire mobile internet (10 GB per day) with the ships, so that you can stay connected.

Indoor parking space
Like to come back from holiday to a clean car? From 1 May to 1 October we offer the possibility of parking your car indoors, in an enclosed hall. Of course, parking outdoors on our land is free of charge.

Water map
On board all of our ships you will find water maps of Friesland, Overijssel and Groningen. It is also possible to order a water map, for instance if you want to plan your cruising route in advance. You can order a water map when you make your booking. This is then sent to your home address when the first instalment is paid.

Fishing licence
Would you like to fish during your sailing holiday but you do not have a fishing license? It is possible to purchase a temporary fishing licence (VISpas). The VISpas is valid in Friesland and can be used for one week by one person. The temporary fishing licence will be provided by the check in. More information about the VISpas.
